Northern Lights over Ring of Brodgar

Sometimes it is possible to forecast when the Aurora will make an appearance but this night it came unexpectantly out of the northen sky at about 8pm. Hurriedly I made my way to the Ring of Brodgar and was treated to 2 hours of green curtains and dancing needles some of which were red. I did my usual trick and lit each stone with a torch to highlight the circular henge. I wonder what Neolithic man thought of all this.
